Introducing my Pelican,

I met Maestra Giovanna through email while she was the chatelaine for our local group, Cynnabar. She quickly became one of my best friends. About a year later I was lucky to see her elevated to Pelican and a year after that, we decided that I should be her protege. While a best friend, she is not only a mentor for the SCA, but someone I dearly look up to and admire outside the SCA as well. If you don't know her, then I hope someday that you get the chance to!
