In the SCA my service to the kingdom and society is through volunteering. I've listed a few of the main activities I am currently pursuing, but I couldn't list every detail here. If you want to know more details, please check out my resume.
In 2016 I created the Pelican Protege Meetup which premiered that year at Pennsic. The idea behind the meetup is to build stronger bonds between those who have a major focus on service within the SCA, while breaking through social norms. The concept allows attendees to open up and have more effective communication and support within the volunteer community.
This is my most recent project. I want to create a type of social media platform where volunteers can learn, teach, discuss, and connect to other SCA volunteers virtually and on their own time. It gives people from all over the society a chance to learn from others they may not have a chance to in person. It also serves as a platform for Scadians to show what they have to offer the SCA.

I have served in Offices at the Local, Regional, and Kingdom Level.

Currently I am serving my local group, the barony of Cynnabar, as deputy to both the Seneschal and Chatelaine. ​

I just completed running Cynnbar's Wassail (A small group event for the Holidays.)

I am currently working on pulling together 2 proposal for future events.

The first is A Grand Day of Tournaments. (Our group's largest event)

The second is for Spring Crown Tournament and A&S Faire 2025.
I believe the SCA needs volunteers to sustain the way we work as a society from running events, following policies, and making sure any SCA activity is safe, welcoming and fun. As a volunteer, we don't often have ways to show what we can do. We don't usually have tournaments, faires, or other ways to show case our work. My current main focus is how to develop a stronger and more supportive community. Through connecting to the populace, I hope that volunteers get a chance to network and connect with others so they may have the ability to learn and improve along their path.
